Site UpdatesCommunity2010

Boo Mansion was first launched on December 3rd, 2003 as nothing more than a small Geocities website and has since grown to become the large site that it is today. We are very proud of how far it has come and look forward to progressing even further over the coming years. We'd also like to give a big thank you to everyone that has been involved in the expansion of the site as well as those that frequent our forums. We really appreciate it!

Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo 3DS will be released on February 26, 2011 in Japan and will become available to North America, Australia and Europe in March of 2011. The Nintendo 3DS will be available in Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black.

It has been announced that the Nintendo 3DS will allow for the creation of generated Miis using a software called Mii Studio. This software uses the system's cameras to snap photos and create a Mii based on that photo. The 3DS will be bundled with a 2GB SD card with every system for photo transfers. Nintendo will also sell Game Boy and Game Boy Color games through a Virtual Console on the 3DS.

Nintendo of Japan has also planned to release a 25th Anniversary Super Mario Nintendo DSi XL system.

In addition to the system news, some information for some of the new 3DS Mario titles has also been released and can be seen below:

Paper Mario
Genre: RPG, Player Count 1 -- The theme this time is stickers. You'll need to place stickers on the maps that float like paper crafts on the screen. The stickers are used to open up new paths. There's also a battle system where your failure or success depends on the stickers you've selected.

Mario Kart
Genre: Action Race Game, Player Count: TBA -- This latest entry in the Mario Kart series promises 3D visuals, and dynamic and impactful races. You'll be able to race friends and people throughout the world via wireless and internet play.

New screenshots for Paper Mario 3DS have also surfaced on the Nintendo Conference 2010 website. These screens shot can be found here.

Nintendo's E3 Conference has concluded and the discussions have been going wild. Nintendo really delivered this year, giving us Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Kirby, StarFox, Animal Crossing and more... But among all of these great new titles, several Mario titles have been revealed. Mario Sports Mix, Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Miniland Mayhem, and an unnamed Paper Mario and Mario Kart for the Nintendo 3DS.

Mario Sports Mix: Four great sports make their move to the Mushroom Kingdom: volleyball, basketball, ice hockey and dodgeball.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Miniland Mayhem: At the grand opening of Mario's third theme park, the first 100 guests receive a new Mini Pauline toy. Donkey Kong arrives as the 101st guest and finds himself out of luck. He grabs Pauline and heads into the park with Mario and his Mini Marios in hot pursuit.

We'll have more information, screenshots and artwork up later today, so be sure to check back later. Until then, please enjoy some of the 3DS Paper Mario and Mario Kart screenshots below. Don't forget to check out the E3 Section of Nintendo's website.
