In the Nintendo GameCube's first venture into the Marioverse, Luigi's Mansion assumes the player into the role of Mario's younger sibling, Luigi. What starts off as a dream come true for Luigi when he receives notice that he just won a mansion actually turns into a nightmare for him when he discovers that the mansion is infested with ghosts and ghouls! Lucky for him, a strange man by the name of Professor E. Gadd arms Luigi with what he needs to rid the mansion of it's pest problem and locate his dear brother Mario. Using the vacuum-like Poltergust 3000 and the Game Boy Horror, Luigi must summon all of his courage as he travels the creepy rooms and halls of this terrible mansion!
