Mario Party set the stage for what the Nintendo 64's 4-player feature was truly meant for. This game practically revolutionized the fun of playing a party game as a group of 4 friends. As the first in the vast series, players may choose their favorite character and participate in a large variety of fun and competitive mini-games! Players will need to win minigames, collect coins and eventually stars, if theye wish to end up being the 1st place winner and superstar of Mario Party!
The game features Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Wario and Donkey Kong as the playable characters. Played on a game board, players will be rolling dice to advance through spaces while collecting coins along the way. At the end of a 4 player turn, a random mini game will be played, one in which the winner(s) will be rewarded with coins. Collect a number of coins to later purchase stars, the player with the most stars at the end of the game is the superstar. |
