| Purchase Mini-games for Cheaper |
| First, purchase ALL of the mini-games that cost under 300 coins. Once that is done, purchase a Gameball from the Gameball Machine for 300 coins, you will receive a mini-game that costs more than 300 coins. |
| Receive all of the Coins/Stars (Requires two controllers) |
After the completion of a game, only the human player's coins and stars are collected and not the COM's. Below are the steps to receive all of the coins/stars:
1. During the Last Turn and move, pause the game with controller 1.
2. Visit the Character Selection screen.
3. Remove the controller in Slot 2 and insert it in Slot 3.
4. Change that COM to Player 3.
5. Repeat Step 4 for Player 4.
Optional Method: If you own 4 controllers, insert all of them and change each of the COMs in human players with ease.

Cheats, Codes & Unlockables
Magma Mountain
|
Play on all 6 of the default boards at least once, Magma Mountain will then become purchasable from the Mushroom Shop for 980 coins. |
| Eternal Star |
Complete all of the boards and earn a total of 100 stars, then visit the Bank. |
| New Title Screen |
| Complete the game with 100 stars and defeat Bowser on Eternal Star. |
| Ending Sequence |
| Collect 100 stars and defeat Bowser on Eternal Star. This item will then become avaliable for purchase in the Mushroom Shop. It can be viewed at any time in the Option House. |
| Gameball Machine |
| Purchase 30 mini-games from the Mushroom Shop to earn the Gameball Machine. The Gameball Machine drops random mini-games that have not been purchased for the fee of 300 coins. |
| No Boo |
| Collect 100 stars and defeat Bowser on Eternal Star. This item will then become avaliable in the Mushroom Shop for 500 coins. While active, Boo will not appear on the board during gameplay, unfortunately, it does not work for all boards. |
| No Koopa |
| Collect 100 stars and defeat Bowser on Eternal Star. This item will then become avaliable in the Mushroom Shop for 500 coins. While active, Koopa Troopa will not appear on the board during gameplay, unfortunately, it does not work for all boards. |
Stage 1
|
Reach the goal of Mini-Game Island and defeat the Toad in Slot Car Derby 2. |
| Stage 2 |
Clear all 50 Mini-Games on Mini-Game Island and then go talk to the Toad at the Goal. |
| Stage 3 |
Set new records on Bumper Balls Stage 1 and 2. Bumper Ball Stage 3 will then become selectable. |
