Super Mario 3D Land marks our favorite plumber's debut on the Nintendo 3DS handheld console. Princess Peach has been kidnapped once again, and to make things worse, the Super Leaves of the Tail Tree have all blown away too. Mario must explore over eight worlds filled with obstacles new and old to take down Bowser and rescue Peach once more. Classic items, such as the Fire Flower and the Super Leaf, also return to aid Mario is his adventure. However, big baddies are back as well, including Boom Boom, the giant koopa who hasn't been seen since he was guarding fortresses in Super Mario Bros. 3. Mario must keep his wits about him if he plans to thwart Bowser's plans.
