First released in North America in October of 1988 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, this Mario installment pits Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad on an adventure in the strange lands of Subcon. This bizarre world, filled with creatures of all shapes and sizes, from the egg-spewing Birdo to the explosive expert Mouser, Super Mario Bros. 2 is a fun-filled adventure for all.
Utilize your favorite character's abilities, such as Mario's standard jumping, Luigi's extended leap, Peach's ability to float, or Toad's incredible strength. It is also worth noting that this version of Super Mario Bros. 2 is different from Japan's Super Mario Bros. 2, which is known as Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels outside of Japan. Super Mario Bros. 2 is known as Super Mario Bros. USA in Japan.
