| While intending to take a nice, long vacation to the tropical paradise of Isle Delfino along with Princess Peach and Toadsworth, Mario finds himself in a sticky situation when the entire island has been covered up with goop! To make matters worse, the perpetrator looks a lot like Mario himself, right down to the large nose and bushy mustache. After being accused for the sinister crime, Mario's punishment is to clean up the entire island and find all of the now scattered Shine Sprites, the source of Isle Delfino's sunlight. Luckily, he is not alone, for he manages to pick up one of Professor E. Gadd's inventions, a water-spraying mechanism known as F.L.U.D.D. (Also known as the Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device). Mario must make the most out of F.L.U.D.D.'s different nozzels to clean, hover, rocket and jet his way to victory! |
