| During gameplay, press the L, Z, A and B buttons simultaneously. |
| Different Color Yoshis in Practice Mode |
| Enter Trial Mode and pick the desired Yoshi color, then start any stage. Press Z and Start together to return to the menu. Now start Practice Mode, the Yoshi that was chosen is now the Yoshi you're playing as, rather than the default green.

Cheats, Codes & Unlockables
| Black & White Yoshi |
Black and White Yoshi are two Yoshis that can join the party along the way. They have longer tongues, bigger fireworks, love all fruits equally, and they even enjoy eating peppers. Both Yoshis appear as eggs and will follow behind Yoshi when found, they will hatch and become playable at the end of the stage.
Below are the stages in which Black and White Yoshi can be found:

If either of the Yoshis survived at the end of the game, they will automatically be in the party upon starting a new game. |
| Hidden Message |
| At the end of each mini-game, eat 7 melons to obtain a Super Happy Heart. After eating the Super Happy Heart, a letter will appear. Go through each mini-game and record each of the letters that appear, put them all together for a hidden message. |

| While traveling throughout the Pipe Maze (2-3), various instances of the word "Nintendo" can be seen. Paying close enough attention to the background can spot the hidden "Zelda" and "Pikachu" writings. |
